Each year I attend a few film festivals and keep a relatively spoiler free journal of the films I've watched.
Since 1975 I've been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. I've been on the foreign film committee since 1978-79 and the documentary committee (and branch) since 1997. I am keeping a journal of my personal film experiences on the foreign film committee organized by year.
I'm also keeping track of the freebies (videos, DVDs, scripts etc.) that the studios have sent me each year as an Academy member.

Palm Springs International Film Festival starts the winter and spring 2009 festival season. My journal for that and other local festivals can be found here.
I was in Seattle again for the festival starting on May 10, 2009. My festival diary including links to films already seen can be found here.
Unfortunately I won't be at The Toronto International Film Festival in 2009. I'll try to make up for it by being extra diligent going to other festivals.
